Campfires & Vampires is a tabletop role-playing game inspired by the Gothic Horror genre and the duality between the Monstrous and Human sides of the characters within.
In this game, you play as Vampires travelling the world and staying out of the sunlight. Travel the world, meet new people, and drink their blood. All while struggling to find balance within yourself. Balance is the key to this game, the further you embrace your Monster or your Human, the further away your character is from their true selves.
This is a playtest edition of a game that has been worked on slowly over the last two years. What’s Changed for version 0.6:
• Character Creations: Rules for character creation have been fleshed out.
• Archetypes: The different archetypes have been expanded upon.
• Stat Ranges: The stat ranges have been fixed as they previously did not work.
• Human & Monster: Further expansion on the two stats.
• Chapter Titles: Helping to easier navigate this playtest edition.
• Settings: A bunch of new potential settings with brief lore and plot hooks.
• Vampire Rules: Rules for being Vampires (sunlight, etc).
